Viewing Changes for a Document

Any time change requests and/or change orders are created for a document, they can be referenced from the Document record. Also, when new revisions or new documents are created, the resulting revision will contain any Change Request and/or Change Order records from the Changes link. The document owner can reference any markups attached to the Change record and check in the files from the Document record > Changes link as well as create change requests from this link.

  1. From the Document record, in the document tree on the left side of the record, click the Changes link.
    Result: The Changes window is displayed.
  2. Click the drop down arrow to filter the displayed results:
Change List Description

Change Requests

Displays a list of change requests created for the document that are addressed through a change order. Change requests can also be created from this location. See Creating a Change Request from the Document Record for additional information.

Change Requests Incorporated

Displays a list of change requests created for the document that are addressed through a change order. Change requests can also be created from this location. See Creating a Change Request from the Document Record for additional information.

Change Orders

Displays a list of change orders that contain proposed changes created for the document, for example, this is the proposed document.

Change Orders Incorporated

Displays a list of change orders that the document is a result of, for example, the document was created as a result of the displayed change orders.
